Good Location
A small “hotel” within a larger building, had to look closely to find at the street level - no traditional fully staffed front desk after hours. Staff were helpful at check in. Had to leave early , so did not have breakfast. Within walking distance (1+ Mile) of Coliseum, etc. complimentary water, tea, & coffee in room.

Great location, great amenities (the breakfast was ample, very diverse and delicious) and the room was clean and spacious for a couple with a child. Lots of cafés, restaurants and shopping around. This was a great find for our stay in Rome this summer. We would definitely recommend

We booked this B&B after being in a 4-star hotel worth zero. We were very impressed by the cleanliness, the friendly welcome of Anna and her attention to our needs. The place is well located in a quiet street, at a walking distance from Piazza del Popolo and the metro station. 15 minutes away from the Termini train station by metro. A drinking water fountain is only a few steps from the door, extremely useful in the summer heat, to fill up on your way in and out. A 5-star accommodation.

AMAZING PLACE TO STAY IN ROME
We will stay here again. The comfort level was superior and the support Patricia gave us was first class. Very close to many shops and landmarks. Also great returners all within walking distance to all. To top it off Patricia supported us in getting our shuttle setup for our return trip home and was accommodating with our bags until our shuttle arrived. Also wanted to thank her for the great information about where to go with map and all! Thank you again and we will see you allsnnj mi

Wonderful find. Dora, as you may read in other reviews, was beyond incredible. So helpful, sweet and generous of her time. The room was spotless and the location convenient. Book it - you won’t be disappointed.

Comfortable location! Super host!
Dora was so happy to see us. She greeted us with such enthusiasm. Upon receiving our keys she had to take down our passport information and then she wanted to explain the many keys you need to use to get in and out. Then she took out the map and she was a wealth of information for travelers. Dora showed us all the attractions you could only hope to see in 2 full days. She explained their breakfast which was already left in the room the night before which helped us leave early for our sight seeing. The room was cleaned and organized very well. Dora was our most outstanding host in all of Italy. The elevator is typical of the times there. Just remember it is not America it is Italy. A beautiful small over crowded country trying to accommodate 2sr century travelers. Highly recommend this guesthouse as long as Dora is there. Thank you! Also in great location to catch trains and buses! We used them all the time.

AMAZING STAY!!!!
Such a great little place to stay. Location is PERFECT!! You can walk to all the main attractions from the hotel or metro is 3 mins walk away. Close to restaurants, shops and literally just next to Piazza del Popolo. Rooms are clean and bathroom is modern. But the best part of the stay is DORA. She is so helpful with everything, so friendly and willing to organize anything for you during your stay. Will recommend this place to everyone i know and will definitely stay here again if i ever come back to Rome. Guys, stay here!! You wont regret it. Plus, the room rates isnt even that expensive! We found the property thro searching Expedia and looking at comments by others and found the place to be brilliant - great host who helped us whenever we asked and guided us throughout our trip. The restaurant two minutes down the road (PizzaRe) was perfect and the kids loved going there and was a godsend when the kids were tired from walking as it was good food reasonably priced and on our doorstep and my son thought the view from the Piazza was the best of his stay - we only new about this from staying at this place else we wouldn't have gone there.; highly recommend staying here ; thanks for having us

8/10 Very good

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Rome
The property is superbly located within a few minutes walking distance of the Piazza di Popolo as well as many good restaurants, markets, grocery stores, and shopping streets. Room is appointed nicely and the hostess (Dora) is about the most helpful and nice person one could meet. Full transparency here, although our stay was excellent, Domus Popolo is not for active small children. My 6 y/o son was pacing and playing with a doorhandle in a way that I consider pretty mild for a kid his age and another patron complained. Also, there is a pretty bright green light over the access door to the room that cannot be turned off (emergency light?). If you are a person that needs total darkness to sleep, then you will have to find a way to cover up the light. Still, I would recommend this hotel as the price, location, and service is exceptional and is especially well suited for singles or couples without small children.

6/10 Good

Location is amazing, even better than we thought. Located on the only quiet street in an otherwise very noisy and vibrant area of the city. It was easy finding our way home because all we had to do was walk toward the giant landmark. Also, it’s clean and the manager Dora was very nice. Other than that, not great. Two issues we had: breakfast and mosquitos. We stayed at many B&Bs during our trip to Europe, including one other in Italy, not sure by what definition of the word breakfast can be considered 2 cold boiled eggs and a couple tiny pieces of toast. The first day we also had a bottle of expired milk in the fridge but we brought it to Dora’s attention and it was swiftly replaced with fresh milk. I understand there is no kitchen but then don’t call it breakfast, call it a light morning snack. The other issue was mosquitos. I can’t say this is 100% the fault of the B&B because they probably came in when the window was open after we checked in, but there was no other way to let in fresh air so we really couldn’t have prevented being eaten up. By the time we left, we were riddled with mosquito bites. I don’t think they were bed bugs because we saw a couple of mosquitos lurking in the morning. Overall would only recommend to anyone who only cares about location.

Exceptional stay
The room was located close to the Piazza Popolo, and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The room was spacious with a large, separate bathroom. Only problem was the shower head didn't work but the handheld did. If we had had time for a bath, it would have been a treat in the large tub. Toilet did not flush that well, but told that the owner was aware and will be fixing it. Aside from that, Dora was there to greet us, even tried to help us with our luggage. She was exceptional in not only being a wealth of information about Rome, providing maps, and suggestions on transportation and major attractions, but she really couldn't have made us feel more welcome. She made us a cappuccino as soon as we got settled, showed us all the breakfast items for the morning, and arranged van transport to the airport. We were sad that we couldn't stay more than a night, but will return to Domus Popolo next time we are in Rome!
