The staff was very friendly and the room was decorated nicely and as clean and fresh. I tested the onsen which was very relaxing.
My only pet peeve is that there wasn't enough room on the floor for me to open my suitcase. But it wasn't a big issue.
The hotel is located in a central area, and I could walk to the biggest sites in Gion. It was also just a few minutes away from restaurants, cafés and other shops.

シングルユースでダブルの部屋を予約したつもりだったのですが、シングルのマットレスをふたつくっつけた形のベッドでした。ひとりだと真ん中にちょうど別れ目があってゆっくり眠れないと思いました。全体的にホテル料金が高騰していることもあいまって、価格に見合わないという残念な印象です。
その他､部屋ではルームライトの不具合があったのですが、これには素早く対応してくださって、スタッフの方々の仕事ぶりは素晴らしかったです。

Loved my stay at Hotel Resolution Trinity in Kyoto! The hotel had the amenities of a high-end hotel without the price. They have an onsen which was very relaxing after a long day of walking, a bar/cafe downstairs, and offered Meiko shows everyday except Sundays. The staff was very nice and I was able to leave my luggage before check-in. The hotel is about an 8 minute walk to the closest train station. There is both a 7-11 and FamilyMart close to the hotel, which was convenient for quick breakfast/snacks. The room was very comfortable and even had tatami flooring, giving a traditional experience. Absolutely recommend this hotel to future travelers!

Room was not large enough for the wide double bed. Left very little space to walk around. There are no common amenities in the room. They are kept in one place on first floor in the hallway! They advertise the restaurant but it does not serve breakfast items a la carte, not even coffee. We were forced to go out in wintry weather to get coffee and baked goods. If you check out even an hour later than 11 am, they will charge extra. Traditional Japanese style means stuff is lower to the ground, including the bed and the sink which can hurt your back. Otherwise, it is a nice little place, clean and quiet. I won't recommend it.
