Fantastic
We had an amazing stay. Although we didn’t get the best view over the Douro from the room, the hotel itself it’s stunning and from the garden you get amazing views. Loved seeing the cats following us, very cute. Definitely worth the visit and we will be back again next year ❤️

Lovely casa
The setting is beautiful and tranquil. It’s 10 mins away from the train station so that we took a train to Pinhao for wine tasting. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area next time!

This property is surrounded by vineyards perched on the hill above the town of Regua with a view of the Douro river. It’s a perfect location for exploring the wine region and you’ll feel warmly welcomed in this traditionally designed and decorated small estate. The breakfast was generous and allowed us the chance to try all sorts of local pastries along with fresh, local cheeses and breads. We enjoyed walking down the hill into Regua for dinner and while the climb back through the vineyards was steep, it’s relatively short! The pool area was a great place to end the day after exploring the region and tasting wines. Highly recommend for a peaceful, relaxing sojourn.

Beautiful
Beautiful! Perfect for people with or without a vehicle. There is plenty to do in Regua within walking (or a taxi if you ask a local!). You are also centrally located with a vehicle to get around. The breakfast... Superb! Made to order eggs AND tons of other stuff. The rooms were beautiful, comfy, clean, and spacious. AC worked amazingly on days hat were over 115F! And the pool was perfect to relax in with an easy "serve yourself" little bar. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked me for recommendations! I look forward to returning in the future!

My family and I stayed in Portugal for a 15 day trip and by far among all of the airbnbs and hotels we stayed in, this was our favorite stay! From the warm welcome by the owner, the decor and our room with a stunning room of the Duoro river, the vineyards and the bridges to the best inclusive breakfast we had in a hotel stay - we have nothing but an amazing stay here. I would highly recommend anyone staying in the Duoro Valley to stay here and we will certainly stay here again on our next trip to the area in a few years!

AWESOME!!! Simply could not have been better. Clean, quiet, family-owned, felt like home. Daily breakfast was just right and sitting on the front porch or by the pool was glorious. Cobblestone path to town is adjacent to the property-- a bit steep but doable. Manuel Jr provided us with dining options and Manuel Sr recommended a winery that was excellent (Quinta do Vallado). We hope to go back!
