"One of the best B/Bs we’ve stayed in. Owners were very friendly & helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated with very large comfortable bed, tea / coffee area with small fridge and large bathroom. Everything was very clean.
Breakfast’s were great and the games / bar / lounge social room was a big bonus. We had a very enjoyable stay.

"In a great location, this simple hotel gives good honest service and accommodation, it overlooks the beach and the train station, from which you can travel back in time on a steam train. The town is just down the road and for bigger shops, there are 3 supermarkets 10 minutes walk away. You can walk along the promenade in either direction, and a visit to the harbour is well worth the walk. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, and has tea, coffee and cakes on sale during the day. Overall I think the hotel offers great value for money and a great location from which to enjoy Minehead. "
"Lovely quirky hotel. Staff were fab. Food was lovely and best mussels I’ve had, beating many good French restaurants.
Bed was slightly uncomfortable as sloping a bit one way and a pillow menu would be good as I prefer really soft down ones. Good hot showers and loved the windows opening wide as sleep with fresh air even in winter so suited us well.
Loved the lounge to sit in quietly as well on a drizzly day. 10/10"

"Really enjoyed our stay in the Rock House. Checked in at the sister hotel The Rising Sun just over the bridge. Perfect location wise to explore Lynemouth, lovely sea view, bar with beer garden, clean room and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend"
