Clean and exactly what you expect for the price

Really run down but clean. For the price of was exactly what we expected. The bathtub drain was very slow to drain and the little coffee pot in the room didn't work. Other then that it served the purpose we needed it for. Just a place to sleep and shower.

For the price and being on the road. This is a good place to lay your head. The owners could make a few key upgrades. Nothing specific, Everything is dated and stretched to its fullest use. But again for the price and breakfast included. I really can’t complain about anything.

Location is great. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, price was good for room. Downside: the bathtub drain was horribly slow ( took 10 minutes at least for it to drain), although towels appeared to have been washed, they were stained.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean but humid. The air conditioning seemed to create extra moisture which kept the rooms feeling damp and giving them a musty odor. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had plenty of hot water.

Second stay at the place. Beds were clean and comfy, but everything else was run down, cramped, dirty (mold on AC units, live and dead bugs everywhere), and felt unsafe - big dog barking at clients, people loitering in parking lots, actual drug deal between guests went down (unabashedly) in dining room at breakfast. Price is good, but not worth it. I'll pay more and stay elsewhere next time.

The property was dated but clean. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed because of the way the curtain rod was hung. Their breakfast was not much to speak of, there was no milk out for cereal, the biscuits were stale and cold.

I loved how the property has been maintained, felt like I was stepping back in time. Staff was super friendly and interiors were very clean. Just a couple of things; wifi signal was poor, I couldn't stream or load pages without holding my computer next to the window (still very slowly). Sheets and towels were a little threadbare and had a cigarette burn, grounds were pretty dirty, with trash all around in plant beds and parking lot. But other then that I enjoyed staying there.

Beware Room 166

Staff was super friendly. Check in went well. Older not updated, photos can be deceiving. Woke about midnight to bedbugs 😡. Reported to staff upon checkout. Stated nothing had previously been reported on that room but will close it down and follow protocol in place to exterminate the pests. We are traveling more, so even checking the bedding before sleep didn, tip is off to finding any. They are a pain to deal with to not bring them in to my home!

Conveniently located in town. Budget friendly. Kind staff. Comfortable beds. Broken furniture. Unsafe breakfast conditions- cold food was not in any type of cooling container and milk was very warm by the time we went to breakfast halfway through eating hours. The little cream cheese cups also were out for hours. Waffle batter ran out each day before eating hours were over. We ended up buying our own milk and orange juice from Walmart (a few doors down) and taking it to breakfast with us just to eat the cereal and hoped for the possibility of waffles or biscuits and gravy if there was any left. We were there before and after the solar eclipse and the days leading up to and after were like this. The only day that food was fresh and well stocked was the morning of the eclipse. It’s certainly a dated building but one that is ok for a “place to sleep” but don’t expect much more. The non-smoking rooms (low-average condition) are in much better condition than the smoking rooms (poor condition).
