Great Amenities Bad Room.
Love the location and amenities in the hotel. The room was slightly disappointing , no coffee pot, no refrigerator unless you pay 25$ a night, which is such a low standard.

Dirty Room in Vegas
The self check in system failed to work online or at the property. They only had one desk agent on a Friday night. Even though NYNY sent me messages via SMS confirming I would get a message with a link to create a key, I was told the reason it "didn't work" is because my phone number was marked as a home number in the NYNY system. I had to wait 25 minutes in line for that reason. She could not explain why I got the "Your Check-in is complete" message to the same number. The bathroom garbage had dental flossers and other small trash in there from the previous guests. Since it was past 10 PM when we got to our room we didn't worry about it. The next day we brought back leftovers from lunch and tried to put them in the fridge. It was full of food and drinks, again from the previous guest. I called housekeeping and they said they would send a supervisor to take care of it. No one ever came. It made me wonder if they cleaned the room at all. This was the worst hotel experience in Vegas. We have stayed at NYNY numerous times and have not had issues before.

It worked and wasn't overpriced.
The room was clean but the walls and hallway allowed way too much noise to get through. If we had a family fun trip this would be the place for kids.

Overall it was a very good stay
The room was clean and comfortable. Service was good. However it did not have mini fridge or kettle for hot water to make some tea or coffee. Had to go to the food court to buy water, coffee etc for very high price.

Basic Room
The room overall was basic with a fun ambiance, but no mini fridge, microwave or in-room coffee. The bathroom sink was in the room without any vanity space. Staff was not very friendly or helpful at checkin which consisted of getting room keys made (I did the online check in). We didn't realize there were multiple room towers and just happened by luck to park near the correct tower and find the correct elevator. Concierge was more helpful the next morning answering parking questions. Lots of food options.

Great for Older Generations
New York New York is a good place for older generations. Lots of food variety.
Be aware this is a bare bones hotel. No refrigerator or coffeemaker in room. Check in was smooth as I joined MGM rewards and was able to get a digital key. Using the digital key I was able to make two extra keys at the kiosk. Very simple and no wait for registration.

conditions experienced.
The digital checkin is a bit complicated but you did have live help where needed. The room was clean and well kept by the cleaning crew. I would have really appreciated a coffee maker in the room. Availability to food and activity was quite good.

Overall it was great but when they come to clean, they wouldn't even pick up any dirty glasses and they would leave the used towels. I don't know why. The only thing they do is make the bed and give me towels
