unfriendly approach to the customer
We had a reservation for that fateful moment when the fires broke out. And they blocked us, we couldn't get to LA in any reasonable time. So we asked to cancel our stay, but the hotel refused. Normally I would even understand this, but it was beyond our control and our wants - the truth is that we would have stayed there a few days / weeks later. But with such an approach to a crisis situation and not caused by the customer, never again.

Great Venice location
Been to Venice a bunch of times and missed this place..not sure how....its great. Check in was easy...getting car parked not so much with 1 valet...also broken elevator and having to use service elevator was super slow. Nice amenties and daily resort fee does give a nice breakfast and use of gym and beach items and bikes make it worth it. Room was very large and even with a city view we could see the ocean and rooftop is a nice bonus as well. Right by the Venice sign..so walking canals, beach, boardwalk and shops was super easy.

Lovely hotel close to beach and activities. Staff very helpful. Valet parking, excellent food and service at the rooftop restaurant, lots of local eating places nearby. Very clean. Had a room with a comfortable bed and accessible bathroom. Very easy to obtain beach items at front desk for daily use (towels, chairs, coolers, bicycles).

Location just a block off the boardwalk. Nice breakfast provided downstairs. Very crowded area can be noisy, but wasn’t a problem after midnight. Room had some lights that didn’t work and towel rack that fell off the wall. Otherwise was nice with very limited places to sit.
