We had a nice room with splendid views of Inverness Castle and overlooking the River Ness. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended if you are staying in Inverness!

Nice stay in the centre of Inverness
A very convenient location next to the river. Close to everything. Charming Victorian hotel. Carpets need to be replaced, but generally the place was in good shape. Clean. Breakfast was classic buffet, nothing exciting, but plenty to eat and everything tasted fine. Dinner was pretty good. However, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the area, so I am guessing many guests are not having dinner at the hotel. The bar (in the restaurant) had a few draft beers and plenty of liquor choices. The staff members were all VERY friendly and helpful.

Great Stay at the Columba, travelled as a group of 9. Hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. Buffet Breakfast was excellent.
Right in the centre of town, 10 minute walk to the train station.

Great bed, noisy bathroom
The bed and decor of the room were great and comfortable. The bathroom plumbing made a lot of noises and there was a small leak coming from the back enclosed area of the old toilet with chain. It had the charm of an old building but bathroom and carpet need updating.
