The cottage was absolutely delightful, and we’re hoping to come back for New Years! The check in process never did work quite right, but we got inside (not sure if we checked out properly, though - hope so!). We just happened to get there during a heat wave and algal bloom, but that’s not the property’s fault. Lovely place!

Loved the speciousness of the unit; spotlessly clean. And #17 being right on the lake was awesome. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it, too, was spotlessly clean and inviting. Lori and the asian fellow were great. Short drive to Safeway. We would return and stay longer. 2 nights not enough.

This was our second stay--love that they have goodies for the dog. I do wish that the toilet had been higher. Just be prepared. But lovely view and well-equipped kitchen.

Very comfy setting. Nice, quite location. Exceptional view and amenities. The dock area was wonderful but the bbq/picnic area was amazing! Loved the cottages and the atmosphere.
Bob was an amazing host who very forth coming with information and his kindness was top notch. The cleaning ladies made sure the place was spectacular and stocked up.

Clean and roomy 2 queen room, heard ducks in the mornings. Absolutely stellar location, and management could not have been more helpful. Just lovely, thank you so much.

Extremely accommodating and friendly manager. The property was by far the nicest property in clear lake. I was a resident of lake county for about 12 years and there is nothing around as nice as this property. It will be the only place we go back to.

The property was clean and nice and the manager was very helpful. Very happy with my stay there. If I could make one suggestion, it would have been nice to have screens on all the windows so that I could have opened the windows at times. The two small windows that did have screens were on the same wall which didn't help at all for any kind of cross breeze.

The property is amazing but shot in the knees by rancid stink from Clearlake. This is something that visitors should keep in mind in summers. Also, the AC in our unit took ages to cool the room, something that the management can look into for the upcoming months.

Property condition
Opon arrival,moved to another unit due to ants in prior unit. Entered adjusted unit to smell of urine and staff cleaned upon notified. Latern at entry to unit didnot work and staff offerred lantern instead for sdafety fixing the next day.
unable at first to work shower and staff needed to show us how to use as it was an outdated showerhead. Sink in bathroom had large knife cuts in sink. Nice property for fisherman and cute cottage. It appeared many of the other cottages were in much better condition than ours.
Had a small doggie sheet given for room?? Never heard of that.
Checkin/checkout all remote and needed to sign agreement that had the guest do several housekeeping chores when departing. Disappointed in rundown condition of town of ClearLake. Property much better than condition though than surrounding area. Will not return.

Horrible AC
The rooms are nice, but the wall AC was horrible. The day I stayed it was just over 100 degrees, and the AC didn't cool the room at all. I turned it on when I arrived as the room was crazy hot and went out to dinner for 1.5 hours. When I returned it hadn't cooled at all and the ACwas just blowing hot air. I requested a different room and they quickly moved me to another room. The new room was crazy hot, so I turned on the AC and went out to the pool until about 9:00 pm. When I returned it hadn't cooled at all. It was hotter in the room than outside, so I opened the windows. After about an hour it was finally cool enough to close the windows, but it was still around 78-80 degrees. I think the wall AC units they have are just to small to cool the rooms when it is over 90 degrees outside. I have stayed here before when the temps were lower and never had an issue. I will never stay again unless the temps are below 90.

Beautiful View! Great Stay
Beautiful property and location however everyone who lives locally is on substances and it was really uncomfortable. The property is right off the lake and you get a beautiful view. None of the locals bother you or come near the property so that was good. We were in town visiting my grandparents and clear lake is such a beautiful location. If we do come back I wouldn't mind staying at this location again. Booking was easy along with checking in and out. If you need any assistance the manager is a phone call away. The view is breathtaking! I also liked that our cottage had a stove, so we cooked everyday saving us money. The cleaning ladies were super helpful and attentive as well. Overall it was a great stay. Just be aware of the locals because just about everyone is on substances unfortunately. Also there was a ton of nats/bugs flying around so when you walk, fingers crossed nothing flys in your mouth or eyes lol, but we know its common for lakes to have bugs. Lastly i would recommend this specific property, oh and they allow dogs which is a plus!

my room was very clean ready when i got there but it was too many mosquitos all in the room and all over the door we had to go get fly swatters and bug spray but other then that everything was great the fishing cleaning station water didnt work for us too clean our fish but overall we had a good time
