Excellent for the price. Bathroom was clean and neat. The house is oldish which kind of brings a decadent charm. Bring warm sleeping clothes. Fantastic for stand up commedy adepts. The neughbourhood is also good. Shops nearby and close to Georgetown.

No.
A $150 deposit you don’t get back. The man was kind enough to let me stay and sort out another room but the energy was not giving anything. There was broken glass walking in the lobby.

It was brief, but pleasant. I don't think the hotel was well lit at night. Otherwise my stay was fine.

It is an historical building and a nice one. It is not well maintained and access for older or disabled people is poor. Carpets need replacement. There no lights next to beds.

Old, dirty or place, squeaky stairs, tiny rooms. Only good thing is location in the heart of embassy rows.

8/10 Very good

This property is unique in that it is also a comedy club. I was concerned about noise, and while we did hear music and sounds, it was quiet by 10pm. And everyone was so polite and friendly...no drunks. The food from the bar/comedy club was excellent. The hotel part of the property was a let down. This is an old building that has been updated over the years. The updates were not done as well as they could have been. Things are falling apart again. And the carpet needs to be ripped out, it is dirty and covered with stains. We left with multiple insect bites on our legs and feet. The rain shower was devine and the historical elevator is fun, when it's working.

The check in process was okay. I complained of a charge made prior to my arrival and the front desk reimbursed it. So, that was good & appreciated! However, the hotel needs to be renovated. Rugs in rooms are dirty and torn and some furniture was broken. The AC is very noisy! They do have a tavern with comedy shows; the comedian I saw was very good! Overall, would not book a room there again. Owners need to invest in the property and upgrade.
