Well it wasn’t expected what you see in the photos but when you go to the place yourself forget it. 😞

Biggest complaint = the bugs. On our last few nights we ended up pulling the bed away from the wall to stop them crawling on the bed. In addition, other residents were having very loud disputes/arguments every morning. Lots of swearing, heard it get physical, etc. Pros: it had an alright shower, nice air con, and a TV. Just wish it was cleaner.

Its was alittle overpriced for quality and size of room...the staff were great and I guess it was made up for with good supply of coffee and milk rations😎

The rooms were not sanitary. Furniture was covered in tobacco, sheets had burn holes from cigarettes and bathroom ceiling covered with mold. Some mold appeared to be painted over.

Maybe they are doing renovations, or maybe they only fix what they need. Walls paper thin so could hear other guest's, bathroom leaked and had black bugs coming out of that area, walls dirty, bathroom wasnt cleaned from previous guest stay, however new flooring and air-conditioning.

You get what you pay for.
Extremely run down hotel. Cheapest place in the area but you defintely get what you pay for. Welcomed by 3 suspicious characters in the front living room with needles on the table. But the man running the front desk was extremely helpful so top stars there. Unfortunately that was the only category that i could rate high. If i knew the place was in such a bad condition i probably would of paid more for a better place.

State and condition off room was in shocking repair. Broken toilet seat, leaking shower, cupboard doors and draw broken off. Only good thing was the lovely helpful lady that was at reception and did cleaning. Special thanks to her.

Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful but the photos in the listing are very out of date, the condition is a lot more run down than shown. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired (there were still loose beard trimmings on the hand basin showing it hadn't even been wiped). I guess you get what you pay for, but I still would have expected a cleaner room for that price. Also, the free wifi didn't reach my room, although youtube on the tv worked fine.

The staff was lovely but it was dirty, bed where uncomfortable, you could hear people walking down the hallway/ closing doors and anyone could have walked in off the street as entrances was open as well as the room door need better locks.

Reception staff was great although let down by owner. Room not clean or bed made on arrival, room flooded and owner put towels on floor and said it was rectified. Power points dangerous and obvious attempts to repair previous water damage. Water under floor boards. Would not refund or provide alternate room. Asked me to go because I raised flooding concern.

This very budget accomodation was perfectly located for our needs. A bus stop is directly in front. Lovely cafe on Kangaroo Point Cliffs is a 200m walk as is the historic Pineapple Hotel. The room provided good air conditioning and adequate bed and bathroom. Only able to access ABC on TV. Recommend taking own pillow. The room is old, not well maintained or cleaned. Only recommend if you need a cheap bed - don't expect more.

This is by far the worst property I have ever stayed in. It’s dark, dirty, full of bugs and no ventilation. Not at all like the photos on the listing. I could not wait to leave. It felt hazardous to my health sleeping and showering there. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay there unless you’re desperate with no other option. Be warned and avoid at all costs.
