First rate - Wonderful Staff
We had an amazing stay at the Carles. The staff, Cecelia, Ailen and another young man could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The location was convenient for all of our activities. The bed was wonderful, the bathroom very clean with lots of fresh towels. It was lovely that you could open the windows for fresh air and a view of the city. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Fresh eggs, cooked to your liking, gourmet coffee, breads and fruits. We stayed there on two occasions—two nights before our Antartica trip and for three nights after. They made good suggestions for restaurants and bars and arranged for a super tango show. We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was fantastic—friendly and attentive throughout my stay. While the room was comfortable, it could have been cleaner, and there were a few maintenance issues, such as a broken toilet seat and a faulty remote control, which detracted slightly from the experience. Overall, the hotel’s great location and staff make it a good option, but room upkeep could be improved.
