The hotel is convienently located outside DC and Alexandria close to a few major highways. I flew to Reagan Airport and took the Metro out to Springfield. Super easy train ride. It was about a 15 min walk to the hotel or you could take an Uber to the hotel. There were alot of restaurants within walking distance which was nice. The room was nice and clean. The deadbolt didn't line up which was unfortunate since it didn't work and I was traveling solo. The breakfast buffet was great! Lots of different options. The staff was super nice too.

Overall not terrible. They are in the middle of renovations. Some area's could use cleaning, however unsure when their service occurs. The room was warm, could be the time of year. The shower pressure was on the weak side, and hot felt warm at best.

Comfortable stay, little hot water
The service was very helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was always fresh and kept stocked. It was also a great variety. My only concern was the hot water. Considering our stay was during winter hot water was a must. Our first night the water was tap temperature. After calling reception it appeared to be an issue coming from a water outage earlier in the day. It did seem to improve the second night but after that was lukewarm at best.

An overnight stay. Check-in was smooth, staff is friendly. Signs in lobby state construction is ongoing due to renovations, however, we didn't notice. The room 8th floor was new, clean and convenient. I will stay again.
