Disappointed
We arrived and there were contractors with their room doors open having parties, drinking and smoking, we did not feel comfortable for our family to stay and we asked to be moved to another room they did but there was party noise most of the night. We are never staying there again.

No light / lamp attached to the light switch next to the entry door. Had to turn the mini-fridge off for a few minutes to get it to come on. Cheap shower head that needed de-scaleing badly. Room was clean and in good condition. Really could use more light. Check in staff at 7pm was not helpful. Said my room was in front, it was in back. Hard to determine room numbers at night driving through the parking lot. No room map was provided. All the ice machines were out of order.

We often stay here when visiting family in Albuquerque and plan to continue doing so as this location is close by, comfortable, clean, and has a nice breakfast. The rooms are well maintained.

It’ll do in a pinch.
Our room was next to the freeway. Very nosy. Asked for extra blanket and never got it. But the bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Set reservations a week in advance and still got the room next to the freeway. Next time I visit Albuquerque, I’ll find a hotel farther away from the freeway.

would not stay again
Found mold in bathroom. When you tried to shower the mixing valve for the shower was not working right so the water change from hot to cold without notice. PTAC didn't seem to work right with temperature and made a weird sound upon start up from the blower which woke me up. The exhaust for the bathroom didn't seem to work. Held piece of toilet paper to exhaust grille and it didn't hold. I have the knowledge of all this since I am a Mechanical Contractor who installs and works on these items. The whole experience made us cut our trip short and leave a day early. I have stayed at a lot of La Quinta's but never had such a experience before.
