Good hotel - unpleasant stuff
The hotel, the room and breakfast were excellent however the front desk stuff were angry, unwelcoming and unpleasant to talk with. We felt like we were doing something wrong when checking in or trying to get service from them. Also, the hotels page stated parking on site but didn’t mention that the parking costs money and very very expensive.

Good location, avoid the on-site parking!
The hotel was very well-located for the Neustadt station and there was a tram stop literally right outside the door which made getting around very easy. The room was comfortable and clean, the Wi-Fi was decent and the staff were friendly and helpful. We did not partake of the offered breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. I feel that I must comment on the ridiculously expensive parking charge at the hotel - 18,5€ per night; to compare, the parking at the station car park for 24 hours is 3€, so we parked there and wheeled our luggage to the hotel which is only a 5-min walk away. Overall, we had a good stay at this hotel and I would recommend it, but definitely not the parking at the location, just park at the station and save 15€ a day!

Good location, nice staff, remote control and telephone are wrapped I guess is to prevent the corona virus. Comfortable bed. However, the hot water become cooler and cooler at the end for a night, and one night when I am back I found that the door is not fully closed.

All we needed
I selected this hotel for it’s price and proximity to the airport, the gig we were going to at Tante Ju and the train station. We arrived early and left our luggage so we could go for a wander. The receptionist was extremely helpful, giving us a map to show us how to get to the old town (also very close by) and which train we’d need to get to the gig that night. After a bit of sightseeing and lunch we got into our room, which was basic but clean and all we really needed. I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone heading to Dresden

Convenient stay in Dresden
A nice convenient hotel to stay in Dresden. Directly opposite a tram station made it really easy to get around and see the city. A sumptuous breakfast and friendly staff made it an enjoyable stay in Dresden.

Rooms were clean and comfortable enough but very cramped, space only to walk around bed and for one piece of luggage to be laid out on a small bench. no wardrobe space. No kettle - you have to go to reception to put down a deposit to bring a kettle to your room and you have to bring it back down to the reception when you check out. Parking has to be paid for 19Euros per day and the entrances to the hotel's parking are awkward as the roads leading are divided and you have to travel 1km or so down to get a u-turn to get onto the correct side. Not a car-friendly hotel. Best avoided if you drive. Free street parking is about 400m away on dark streets by the train line. Breakfast is decent but nothing to rave about and only worth it if it comes with the room at a small cost (less than 10Euros per person). Breakfast joint gets crowded and the queue for the coffee machines get long, so time your breakfast especially on weekends. Location of hotel is out of main downtown area to old Town, about 3km walk. Tram station is right in front of hotel so that might be a good option for getting into town. No restaurants around the area, except a Kebab kiosk and the main train station 500m away.

Excellent location, easily accessible, availability of parking inside the property. The rooms are clean, functional and pleasing. The hotel staff was very helpful - they told us about a nearby restaurant where we could order our food from, as the restaurant kitchen was closed - since we arrived late. A week in Dresden.
Had an amazing stay at this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, service is very good and the location is perfect. Very new hotel so everything looks fresh and clean. Within walking distance or a very short tram ride to all the major attractions of Dresden. Tram stop right in front of the hotel and train station is a 5 minute walk. Buy an individual transit day pass for 6 Euros or 9 Euros for family use. My only issue is the very narrow shower enclosure.
