Great location, friendly staff!
This was a beautiful property. Very comfortable and everyone was very friendly from check in to the bar. It was affordable and within walking distance to all the monuments and buildings we wanted to see. This was our first time in DC and we would stay at The Henley again!

This is a beautiful hotel in downtown DC with excellent service. The staff were outstanding. The hotel is a lovely historic building. The water pressure was excellent. The only negative thing was no full length mirror in the room and no mirror that could be used for makeup. The bathroom mirror was behind a very deep countertop.

Beautiful, Classic but no luxury
Beautiful classic hotel. All the spaces are gorgeous and the rooms are renovated with classic elements still in place. I liked my room and the staff was gracious and helpful. However, my frustration was that I had to come down to the front desk for EVERYTHING. No room service … come pick up your food from the bar, no utensils for a delivery … come pick them up from the front desk … food delivery had to be retrieved from the lobby. The hotel looks luxurious, but the service options were not.

Does the job
The staff couldn’t be nicer, and this place very much works for a quick overnight & is extremely conveniently located. My room however was unfortunately pretty musty and I was located directly across the hall from some janitor closets which were constantly being slammed open and shut.

Excellent hotel and would stay again!
Excellent hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here - the rooms amenties were all great - perfect comfy bed and the room was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. They let us check in early as our room was free. We ate breakfast here everyday as they a offered a good range for decent prices. Location was good - a little walk away from the mall which we didn't mind as it good for accessing other areas such as the station / metro etc. Would definitely stay again.
