The hotel was one of the cleanest I've been to in a while. While parking wasn't the best with a broke down truck making it difficult to park in front of my room the beds were very comfy. Breakfast was good and I forget the woman's name who is down there but she was super sweet and made sure everything was clean stocked and taken care of.

Day's Inn has had something of a refurbishment since the last time I really spent time around here around 2020. Bathroom hardware seems much newer, the old carpets were gone in favor of clean wood floors, and the electrical sockets and lamps are in fine shape. Service was good as it has normally been, and I'm not sure if the walls have been better soundproofed or the other guests were just behaving themselves. Overall it's gone up a bit in quality.

Charged twice for my pet.....
The stay was ok. Breakfast was limited. I knew there might be a problem when I checked in and while charging my card he says, I did that wrong so hecharged my card instead of putting it in pending as is standard. He charged the pet fee separately, so now seeing I had a pet at end invoice it said to refund $35 to my card instead of the entire $50 holding fee, charging me twice for my pet.

Smoky smell in non-smoking room.
I rented a non-smoking room for 2 days. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The refrigerator worked very well. My biggest issue was that there was a faint smell of old smoke in Room 233. It did not smell like recent smoke so I did not complain. However, when I got home my CPAP machine had the stench of the old smoke. I could not even wear it last night. If you are offering non-smoking rooms then they should not have been smoked in EVER.
