Our stay was perfect. Perfect location for all our business stops. Room was a corner and windows on two walls which made it light and bright. Elevator was a bit slow. Being on a higher floor requires additional time built in to getting to the lobby. Free coffee and breakfast bars in the lobby was also a nice touch.

I had to make a last minute trip to NYC for work and room availability was low, prices were sky high. Property is old and dated, there was an awful smell in the lobby, the carpet in my room was sticky, and the bed and pillows were not comfortable. I will avoid in future.

4 day 3 night stay. Friendly check-in. Room including bathroom was clean. Loved that there was a fridge with bottle racks and microwave. Excellent housekeeping service (Miriam). For the age of the hotel, it was well maintained. We had shades and the curtains didn't close. Not a big issue. Bed was a bit too firm for me. I asked for and immediately received extra blankets, softened the bed. Slept great. I would love to see the continental breakfast return and a snack store. Vending machine was basically bare (not hotels responsiblity). Overall the location was great. Within walking distance to many places. We walked to Central Park, Time Square, the Barrymore Theatre and Carmines for dinner. A definite must stay.

extra fee when booking in this site

First, because I booked on a third party site, I was told I owed a $22 facilities fee upon checkin. This was on top of the cost of the room and all the other fees associated with booking a hotel room. Are you kidding me? Watch out for that when booking on this site. The room was dated and sparse considering for the cost. The window air conditioner unit was so loud, I felt badly about how loud I had to blast my tv just to hear it. I literally had to turn it off in order to talk on the phone. “Breakfast included” consisted of Watery coffee and a mini chewy granola bar. Good location, close to subway.

Our one night stay

Not enough plugs in the room. No coffee in room. Bathtub did not have mat, making it a tad slippery. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispersers not all that user friendly. At check-in, they lost our reservation (due perhaps to the 3rd party booking it). Front desk was helpful though in resolving the problem but it took about 40 or so minutes. Good location. Overall liked it notwithstanding my comments.
