Location is very convenient, right in the Hongdae street. Shop and drop your loots back in Hotel. Staff is very helpful and nice. Room is in great condition just that this period there is construction at level with the pop-out store, so will hear some drilling.

The staff at this hotel is incredible all around, I cannot stress this enough. The hotel is right in the middle of a lot of restaurants and things to do, which was exactly what we were hoping for. It has been our second time visiting Mercure. The rooms are clean and the bed is so comfortable. Staff are friendly and helful. Located so conveniently in the heart of Hongdae, you never run out of things to do. Highly recommend!

The hotel was near by the public met station , University Hongdae, and surrounded by lots of shopping, dining, cafe options but this is the ONLY good thing about this property. The hotel is old and have deficit around the sink area and lots of furnitures, depending on the room you get upon check-in. It is not up to a 4 star hotel standard, but if you don’t mind the above, its location is the best. Staffs are friendly.

There are better options.
Directions to the hotel are unclear as the hotel is around the block from the address. The room had a small card that said, Here’s a snack.” There was no snack. There was only one coffee pod, no creamer. The shower head leaked and sprayed everywhere. If you adjusted the temp too quickly the shower head would disengage. The room is fairly cramped. The thermostat didn’t do anything.
