The hotel staff are excellent. The restaurant and bar have great food and great service. The hotel is in a great location. It could you a little remodel - especially the bathrooms. But regardless, it’s our home away from home when we are in Berkeley.

I was a little surprised that the reviews weren’t better because this place is fantastic, an amazing location, the Boathouse restaurant was great (had it for breakfast), and everyone I interacted with was beyond nice, highly recommend staying here for short-term stays or if you are in the area for awhile, I will be back!!

The room was very clean. The bathroom did not have a air vent fan so it was a little hot in there to blow dry your hair and after you take a shower and the balcony was really small so you couldn’t really hang out there. The area was beautiful and the restaurant was amazing expensive but amazing. I would stay there again.
