Our travelers also like the art galleries, churches, and cathedral in the area. If you want to see more of the museums in Barcelona, Casa Milà isn't far either.

Nothing says vacation like spending a lazy day at Barceloneta Beach, a popular beach in Barcelona. Stroll along the seaside in this romantic area, or check out its top-notch restaurants.
Beware of pick pockets. It's the pick pocket capital of the world! I've had phones stolen twice and nearly a third time on this trip. Never have a phone or wallet on show. Be very careful on the metro and busy areas. Take clothing with zipped pockets

A lively city with something for everyone - there's the new city, and the old city - both worth checking out. Great shopping and food. Many beautiful sites with a focus on Gaudi's architecture based around art, beauty and symbolism of the Dragon.

Simply fabulous! One of the best tourist friendly in our 30 day European trip. Mobility offer includes excellent metro and bus-line services, new-comer friendly, plus bicies and scooters to rent via an APP, pick/drop anywhere! - Barcelona has it all

Beautiful city with so many amazing things to see- we walked about 20 miles in 2 days to see as much as possible!! But ordering a taxi was easy with the freenow app, the metro was easy to use and a lot is within walking distance. Well worth a visit.

Barcelona is a great city with lots to see and do and some absolutely stunning architecture. However, there are LOTS of street people and what looks like drug activity starting at dusk. I'm not sure how safe it is to walk around at night by yourself.

Walk.... Just walk... I was here 5 days.. and walked around 120km... It's the best way to see the place.. combine it with a public transportation card for 120 hours... 5 days is enough to see sunrise at the beach... And walk to all the nice places.

Barcelona was lovely. It was comfortable weather when we went in early Spring. There is a lot for art lovers in particular. If you enjoy contemporary art it has a lot to offer. Moco Museum was fantastic and one of our favourite parts of the trip.

I love a lot about Barcelona - shopping, buildings, the history, the beach, the food scene - are all amazing! The downside is always having to worry about having your stuff stolen. We were robbed the first time we were there despite being careful.

2nd time visiting Barcelona and loved it again! Obviously, you need to be very careful with your valuables due to the pickpockets, but aside from that, it has everything you could want. Plenty of alfresco bars and restaurants, history, beach etc.

Imagine this city with the beautiful fountains working. They are in a drought, so none are functional. Hop on/off bus first day recommended. Take several day trips/tours out of city if you have time, Montserrat, Sitges, Girona and Costa Brava.
"This is my second time staying at this property and will stay here every time I go to Barcelona. The staff is always very professional. The hotel smells good and the amenities are great. I love the bathroom soaps. "
"The hotel's location is excellent for walking to the harbor and the Market. The staff was very helpful especially, Jose and Edwin. Friendly and accessible. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Thanks for asking."
"I had a wonderful stay in Barcelona — the hotel’s rooms were absolutely gorgeous, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond, even reserving a taxi for me and offering a glass of cava at check-in, which was a lovely touch. I would definitely stay here again.
One thing to note: while the hotel itself felt safe and comfortable, the surrounding area seemed a bit sketchy at night. I unfortunately witnessed a pickpocketing incident just outside the hotel, so extra caution is advised when walking around after dark."
"First time on property as this was my first time in Barcelona, I really loved my room to the point on some days I just lounge in my room. It was cool, clean and housekeeping was always on point and super nice. The lady who cleaned my room was super sweet. Loved being poolside reading my kindle or on my Ipad. Couple of minutes away from the Cortes de Ingles and the metro which I also liked. Overall, my stayed was superb."
