Barest Bones, pricey @ zero frills
Owner greeted us at front desk, nicest guy. Room was large, super comfortable, great bed and pillows, but thin coarse towels, no kleenex, no coffee pot, no breakfast, zero amenities, no frills. A little pricey for bare bones. Reversed barhroom faucet, dumb and easy to fix, slow sink drain, and floor mopping is overdue. We slept well, and we feel bad, but leaving an accurate review is important :-)

You get what you pay for
There was a half inch gap around the front door which let a lot of cold air in when I stayed in November. The heat was controlled by a wall unit which blowed hot air at the bed all night and the bathroom was located far from the door so it was ice cold. The room itself was clean.

Solid Value Proposition
Solid, clean room for a fair price. Car is 3 feet from your door with the motel parking. I would recommend bringing your own pillow but everything else is covered.

Disappointing
The inn is located right on the interstate and was very loud all night. Heater/air conditioner extremely loud and needed to be replaced and window sealed as we could see the parking lot thru the unit. Tub did not drain when showering. Poorly lit room. Would NOT stay again!

For the age of the property it was fine Paid for a queen room and it was basically a double floor made popping noise only 2 pillows curtain didn’t wrap around so you could see in the sides Not sure why but for about 4 commercials 2 different times the commercials wording was backwards not really a problem but simply odd

My wife and I needed a clean and comfortable place to spend the night on a road trip between Dallas and Indianapolis. I used my travel app to look for decent, affordable lodging west of St. Louis. The combination of rating and pricing looked almost unbelievable, so I read the reviews. Encouraged by the reviews, I made the booking and I was not disappointed. The check-in process was easy and friendly and the room was spotless with no smell of covered-over cigarette smoke. (My wife is allergic to it.) The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well and awoke rested for the onward journey. The amenities are very basic, if it makes a difference to you. There was a small fridge and a microwave. There was no coffee maker but you can buy a cup of coffee at the next-door restaurant. I went to the Philips 66 down the road and bought mine at a cheaper price. The bathroom was clean and nicely set up. Only the bathtub seemed old with some discolored spots, but I had a nice shower in it. Bottom line: next time I need a place to spend the night west of St. Louis, I won't look anywhere else. Best room for the price I've ever found.

First impressions are important. I hadn't realized that this was a motel instead of a hotel so was surprised when I pulled up. That said, when I went in the office to check in the young man that greeted me was very friendly and helpful. That goes a long way in my book! The room was spacious, the flooring was new (looked like hardwood but was probaby a laminate). The bathroom was beautifully redone with the exception of the bathtub. The counter was black and had the look of marble with a modern sink and a full mirror. For a single night stay it provided everything I needed.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Sullivan Inn. I was traveling from Oklahoma to Michigan and needed an inexpensive place for the night. Based on other reviews I booked the Sullivan Inn. I had a very nice King room that appeared to be recently renovated inside. The outside of the buildings are older, but I didn't need amenities beyond a clean, quiet room for the night. The location was excellent, and there are plenty of gas stations, a Walmart and other amenities within a radius of a couple of miles. I will stay here again on my next trip to Oklahoma.
