6/10 Good

Would be good if breakfast could be served earlier, like 7am as I only use this place for work and start early. Parking is good and outside in front of the building.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. There was free parking on site, which was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and plentiful including, eggs however you like them, ham and cheese, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, toast and jam, croissants and pain au chocolate. Very nice. Lovely big breakfast room with a view over the garden.

8/10 Very good

Four of us stayed in the family room for one night and it was perfect for our needs and in a great location. The room was spacious for four people and very clean. The staff were very helpful. Although, we had 2 cars with us and there is only one parking space per room. We were prepared to park elsewhere but when checking in were told by staff where we could park the second car, which was along a drive next door to the guest house. When returning to the car in the morning there was a note on the car warning us we were parked on private property and could be reported for trespassing. Overall it was a pleasant stay just unfortunate about the parking situation if you are travelling in multiple cars.

Celine was amazing. She gave us access after hours, checked on us in the morning and gave us tea and toast after breakfast hours, checked on our welfare, held our bags for us when we went into Oxford, and gave us waters in the heat wave. The sheets were not very clean and the bathroom garage was not emptied when we checked in, but the shower was good and there was a fan and tea provided in the room with decently comfortable beds. A great place!

4/10 Fair

We arrived at 3 minutes past reception closing, the lady was just turning the light off and she saw us coming to the door with bags. Luckily a man was exiting the building so we could get in Rang the bell a few times and a angry rude lady shouted check your message I explained I couldn't find a message for late arrival We had travelled 3 hours. She then threw a number key at us and slammed the door. No help or advice No wifi as advertised No advice for breakfast Sign for breakfast £8 for continental Needs rebooting Building very old Needs major upgrades for price Shower poor pressure Carpet stains Dated and old fashioned No kindness or help on arrival or leaving No amenities No tea bags in room or anyone to ask Very poor for oxford area
