What a beautiful hotel. Our stay was so memorable and enjoyable. Nothing was to much trouble. Exceptional service by the staff, We would rate as the best service we have ever had at a hotel. Breakfast was so delicious. Location Great able to walk to all the attractions and shopping. Will certainly be back when we return to Hanoi.

Our family (mum, dad, boys 11 and 13) stayed here three times as we dipped in and out of Hanoi to travel to other locations. Firstly the rooms, beds and all amenities were a delight. It’s a lovely quiet and comfortable location in the old town of Hanoi. Breakfast is fabulous. Lots of fresh and delicious variety and good coffee. The hero’s of the hotel are the staff especially those front of house. With all of our in and out the team we’re incredibly accommodating, thoughtful, and generous. They supplied us with a take away breakfast when we left really early. They welcomed our returns like friends. They made sure we had access to showers before we had to travel home- after a sweaty and fun day out and about in Hanoi. The team were also super helpful with advice on food and drink places and taking care of our belongings while we were away. We highly recommend Royal palace for all people travelling in and through Hanoi. Exceptional.

I can’t rate the place highly enough. Situated in the heart of the Hanoi’s Old Quater, this hotel is a little gem. Clean friendly and very well air conditioned. The staff are so friendly, I can’t speak highly enough of them, Jimmi and the team do a very good job of making you feel right at home. If you want to stay in the heart of Hanoi then this place won’t disappoint you. Highly recommend!

Good central location our triple rooom was spacious and clean. Bathroom is starting to become a little tired. Service from the front desk was excellent but service at breakfast needs improvement and so does the breakfast offering which i can describe as acceptable, please get another toaster people are waiting too long, offer croissants and nicer bread. So apart from breakfast this is a nice hotel.

This was our first time to Vietnam/our first experience of a Vietnamese Hotel and we were very impressed by the whole experience. From the moment we stepped in the reception area, where we were greeted by a lovely receptionist with a welcome drink, to the last day of our stay, the staff were impeccable. This is the first place I have visited where, throughout our stay, they remembered all our names..... The receptionists offered invaluable advice regarding local eateries and where to visit, and all the staff were truly amazing and attentive.... The rooms were large, clean and airy and the beds very comfortable, offering us a great nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety, catering for all tastes and the option to select how you wanted your eggs, was a lovely touch. My family and I stayed at Royal Palace for several days and could not have been happier with the accommodations and location. The rooms were reasonably sized, very clean, and well appointed. We especially liked how the rooms connected with the small hallway in-between, it gave a good place to keep the luggage out of the way. All of the staff were very friendly and the services provided were exceptional. The included breakfast buffet was very good and we enjoyed the varied selections of foods. The next time we return to Hanoi we would definitely stay at Royal Palace again.

I have never stayed at a more charming and welcoming hotel in my life. The staff all opened the doors to welcome us in and we were treated to a welcome drink. Once checked in we were shown the facilities and everything was explained so well. Nothing was too much trouble from helping us find a dinner location to offering to store our bags whilst we went on an overnight cruise before returning to the hotel. At our final departure the staff waived us off in our minivan and I was very touched to see that. This amazing hotel in an amazing part of Hanoi is a gem.

We really like this small hotel. Their staff, from the first introduction to the bell staff, to the reception, to the concierge, the cleaning staff and notably the dining room staff were so nice and helpful. The dining staff was telling us the menu of Hanoi's traditional breakfast food for the next 2 days. Our son said their French Toast w honey was the best he had ever tasted, even when compared to the French Toast we had in the US. Their cafe sua da was strong but so refreshing. When they knew we were leaving for Ha Long Bay, the offered to prepare cafe sua da to put into our thermos which still tasted so good 14 hours later when I was about to go to sleep in our cabin in Ha Long Bay. When we booked the Hanoi City Tour Bus, the bell boy walked us to the pick up spot about 1 km away, and stood waiting and called the city tour bus operator when it was late. We live in the US and miss these small boutique hotel that takes pride in their hotel and service. We recommendation this hotel highly.
