St Lucia offers a diverse Caribbean getaway with its gorgeous coastline and mountainous terrain. Sunseekers can find over a dozen beaches with white, golden, and black sand, all of which have palm trees and easy access to turquoise waves. Standouts include Marigot Bay, Reduit Beach, La Toc Beach, and Grand Anse. The island’s capital is Castries and there are plenty of scenic towns along the coast. Soufriere is known for its proximity to the Sulphur Springs and Diamond Botanical Garden while Gros Islet has 2 gorgeous beaches and is home to Pigeon Island National Park.
St Lucia has a few hidden inland attractions for those who want to step away from the sand. Hikers can climb the Pitons, which are twin volcanic plugs on the island’s southwestern coast. The island also has a great collection of waterfalls, hot springs, and mud pools formed by a dormant volcano.
