The only negative was the twisty switchback gravel/muddy road to get there. It snowed and the road became very difficult to drive with a passenger car.

A beautiful location nearest to Great Basin NP.
Great place to star gaze. Deer and turkey graze in the green grass on property. Hosts very helpful provided healthy bag breakfast or if don‘t eat breakfast can get credit in their fully stocked food store. Satellite WiFi was slow but good for texting, kinda forgot about my phone in such a pretty location. Loved our stay!!

Great place to stay if going to Great Basin NP
Didn't really know what to expect after all the emails about a dirt road to get there. It was wonderful! Baker itself has a wonderful restaurant and small store at the office of the hotel has everything you need. The room itself was roomy and the kitchenette had what you need. The hot tub was great, especially after hiking all day, and the deer in the courtyard area were a bonus. The skies are amazing at night. Great access to the national park. Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Great Basin NP.

We were visiting the Great Basin NP and booked this place for one night (18min to NP by car). Long drive on a dirt road to the property but worth it. Better to arrive before dark as the road is winding. Check in lobby staff is friendly and the office also doubles as a mini convenience store w frozen food, drinks, desserts, and more. Our unit was clean and spacious; it has a kitchen, living room and a separate bedroom.
Unfortunately we were only there for less than 12 hrs, no opportunity to explore the grounds or use most of the amenities in the unit.
It feels like a nice property to hang out for a few days to escape the rat race in the city.

Loved the spaciousness of the accommodation: living room with full couch and large tv; full and well- equipped kitchen with table and chairs; and large bedroom with king bed and bathroom access from bedroom or kitchen area. Hot tub on property worked wonderfully and perfect for after hike relaxation. Grocery was well-stocked so choices for dinner were plentiful. Office/grocery store manager was helpful and friendly. Game room looked fun! Appreciated quiet hours as well.

Sorry we stayed only one night. This is a perfect place for a retreat or family reunion. Or plan enough time to enjoy a few afternoons/evenings there after the park. The dark skies alone make the extra drive well worthwhile.

Pretty close to Great Basin NP. The rooms are large and comfortable. Don’t let the dirt road scare you, it’s not bad at all. They will send you very detailed instructions on how to get there. We found it easily even in the dark. It’s a beautiful property!

This was just like a really nice VRBO - our room had everything we needed to prepare meals. It's a decent drive to the resort but the road is well graded gravel - no issues. The remoteness is part of the allure. The sack breakfast option was a nice surprise. Camp store is well stocked. Check in was great - super friendly staff. Room was modern and very clean.
