Fine, except for the helicopters.
The hotel was centrally located and easy to find. The art in the lobby was very cool and the checkin was easy. They added a $50 fee to the bill, of which $15 was a credit to spend in the hotel marketplace. However, it was confusing to use this credit as prices were not marked and the drinks and food were very expensive.
Room was a good size for NY and the bed was comfy.
Our room was situated close to the elevator and the sound of the elevators going up and down all night long sounded like we were under attack from helicopters.
We mentioned it to the front desk in the morning and she laughed and was not surprised. I'd recommend requesting a room far away from the elevators unless you like the sound of helicopters all night long.
