Basic clean hotel.

Great location
This was a very comfortable hotel in an ideal location. A short walk to the train station, and also a short walk to all our events. The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit warm in mid-August (the room was equipped with a fan, and opening the window at night cooled it nicely). One caution: the hotels.com listing says "laundry facilities" and "laundry service", but actually they have only a laundry service. There is no self-service laundry room in the hotel. The service is fast (drop off by 9 am, returned 7 pm the same day) and reasonably affordable (about 10 Euros for 5 kg).

Marvellous

Poor 2.0
Terrible experience
Where do I start? My first room (thankfully, the key didn't work) was on a floor that stank of weed. When I went down to reception to ask for another key (and to change room), I was given a key to a room on another floor. Great, I thought...although when I entered the room I quickly realised that someone else was already staying in that room. Back to reception and, despite being offered another room back on the floor with the overpowering smell of weed, I finally got a room on a floor with no smell and no other guests staying there. The room was clean and no other issues, but terrible experience!

What kind of guest?
Hotel accomodation, facilities and staff were all pleasing on this trip, which was relaxing until the final night when having gone to bed early for travel (3am) to Dublin ferry next morning, I was awoken by "mutants" making excessive perhaps drunken noise in the corridoor and adjacent rooms sporadically from 11.30pm until 2.45a.m. Not conducive to early travel/driving. If young groups book rooms, then the Hotel should have them situated away from the people that may need their sleep undisturbed.

No restaurant open
It should have been stated that only continental breakfast to your room was available as restaurant was not yet open. I would not have bothered pre booking the breakfast. There were some very noisy guests roaming around at 2am. Otherwise everything else was fine.

We paid for breakfast but due to COVID19 they just arranged a very simple breakfast outside the room. It’s not my expected! I don’t like yogurt, fruits and juice! I’m disappointed that I paid but just got a croissant!

Fine
Nice place, decent breakfast. I haven't stayed in a jury's inn before - I expected it to be a bit poser! It's similar to a travelodge or premier inn. Tea and coffee in the room but no biscuits. Shampoo but no conditioner!
