Better choices for the money
Hotel marked as per friendly which was true but pet fee was not disclosed until checkin which put us in a bed spot since it was a substantial amount, parking was a little inconvenient because it was an additional $30 a night, a $325 two night booking quickly became closer to a $600 two night booking, and for that $600 we got the oldest wing of the building with obvious signs of disrepair in the room, the view was extra for a sunset view but was lackluster because the roof of the building in front of us was taking up everything

Hotel is in a great location for attending the FFCC championships so we stay every year, but hotel needs to be remodeled, it's old. Has a starbucks which is great and staff is good but they need to remodel it during off season.

Just ok
This hotel needs an upgrade not a renovation but just some basic upgrades. Most of the furniture and fixtures are rusty. They charge a $25 daily but for what…a beach towel?!?!? The room was stale and the ac barely worked. When housekeeping came they half cleaned the room. They never switched out and glasses which we used and extra linen was left in our room and I still don’t know why. We ate at Don Rico’s for dinner one night and that was ok and had wings at the pool which took us over an hour to get.

Just Ok
Stayed 3 nights and it was just ok. The staff when checking in and out were great. They made the process quick and smooth. Valet was amazing. Encountered several different valet staff and every single one was amazing. Had an oceanfront room and it was a great view. The room is in definite need of upgrades. The lights and lamps were tarnished. The mattresses were awful for comfort. The worst thing was the elevators. Most of the 3 days we were there only one elevator was working. That was a complete disaster. The location is the best thing about the hotel. Right on the boardwalk with beach access. Directly across from the Ocean Center. Easy walk to lots of restaurants. Overall the stay was ok and we would stay again but this is not our favorite Hilton.
