Les Suites Hotel Ottawa, Ottawa

Our room was good , just not very clean. We found a lighter on the floor, glass in cupboard were not clean ( not that big of a deal since I would have rewashed before using anyways). But my biggest issue was that the shower curtain had blood on it and they did seem very apologetic about it.

Good hotel. Staff are friendly, location is great. The rooms have been renovated and look nice and modern with wood flooring. The suites have a washer/dryer combo which is great if you are staying for a while.

Good amount of space for a family of 4. It was clean and location was great. My main issue is that some furniture was broken and the appliances and decor were quite dated. It’s a decent place to stay, I’m just not sure it was worth the price I paid.

The good: The suite style rooms are laid out great with lots of space and and separation of space. It was good for small children and infants. The pool was warm and fun to play in. Beds were clean and comforatable. Showers were warm with lots of pressure. Location for Ottawa is amazing within blocks of just about everything: Canal, Capitol, Byward Market, restraunts, and Rideau Centre if it is a bit cold out. The Bad: As a pet friendly hotel it REALLY needs to lose the carpet. Wall to wall carpet with pets is not good and it showed. They need to rip out all the carpet and replace with hard surfaces that are easy to clean... and be obviously clean. The furniture was worn with a patina of dust on the less used surfaces, and spots on the walls (dogs?). Beds were clean and comfortable. Bottom line: Great space, layout, beds, and location; needs floors replaced and deep cleaned

Didn’t like that I was asked 20$ more a night for a room with a view. When I declined and kept my original room , it already had a great view. Also front desk took the liberty ( without asking ) to add overpriced parking....
