Just ok

Check in cumbersome, check out was met with lovely manager, who apologized for check in. Given credit for parking. Disappointed to be honest- first time there- considered Chelsea Eaton and this hotel. As Hilton honours member, decided to go with this one. Maybe a different decision next time as Chelsea- CAA rate was not much different. To be honest, I called ahead before booking and checked out what I had been worried about and was assured by DoubleTree I would have needs met (sister with serious medical issues- bone cancer -and pain management is important). However, the experience proved to not be accurate and resulted in more pain and no sleep due to high level of pain- unable to check in early, no time for a rest before planned event- arrived early as we were assured we could but then had to be out for 4.5 hours walking increasing pain. Ughhh.

Visited Toronto from US. Hotel is centrally located, walkable neighborhood, fast and easy check in. Tim was awesome. Go ahead and spend the couple of extra dollars to add breakfast. Breakfast was good, friendly service. Room size was great, booked king bed with kitchenette. Parked across street, parking is also available beside hotel. Ample elevators. Complimentary cookies were excellent. Will definitely book again if ever in the area.

Incredible service, very clean and great location

The staff was probably the most helpful of any hotel I've been to - and I travel often and globally. They were not only friendly but went above and beyond to help in every way, from an unusual parking situation, the service at the bistro to the front desk. The location is fantastic, and very clean, but the service is what set them apart. Special thanks to Ryan and Russell.

Staff were all vert nice and helpful! Pool area was well maintained and the room was very clean. The only bad thing was the walls are very thin. I could hear loud groups of partying teenagers every year.

The staff here were great, only wish they offered an airport shuttle. Also the restaurant wasn't bad but their prices were a bit high in relation to the quality of the food. I would however eat there again if I did not feel like heading out.
