Positive points: Sheets were clean Montmatre area was lovely so the location is great Staff were friendly & helpful storing our bags Negative points: Toilet was in a separate room from the sink & shower & was so tiny, it was almost impossible to sit down! Especially for my husband at 6’6” (& I wonder, do they clean the light switches which people are touching before washing their hands?!) Room was SO tiny & there was nowhere to put belongings. We had to put the coffee making facilities on top of the wardrobe to make space! There were 4 hangers in the wardrobe - could have done with another 5 or 6! Shower was only fit for a child! If you can’t squat, you won’t be able to reach your shampoo on the floor as it’s too small to bend over. The shower door was broken & wouldn’t stay shut so kept hitting us while showering as it bend inwards! Shower itself was also broken & when moving the head up or down on the rail, the whole thing was coming off the wall. There was 1 socket in the room - not easy when trying to charge 2 phones. Things which the hotel have no control over but should influence whether you want to stay there: Square outside the hotel door was right below our window & on Friday night was so extremely loud, it kept me awake until 3am!! The hill up to the hotel is brutal. If you are in anyway not able bodied, you will regret staying here! Montmatre area IS lovely though.
