Lovely Hotel in a Great Location
We stayed at this hotel for one night last week with our dog. We had a really nice stay. When we checked in, we were given a gift bag with treats for our dog (such a nice touch). This hotel is really dog friendly and the concierge person went out of his way to be kind to our girl. The hotel itself is really lovely inside. There is a lounge as well as a restaurant. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was amazing and the service was great. The only issue we had (which was kindly and promptly resolved by the staff at the front desk) was that we had a bit of a noisy neighbour that went on for a number of hours preventing us from being able to sleep. When we called the front desk, they quickly were able to move us to another (quieter) room which we really appreciated. Sadly, the walls are quite thin and we felt that we should not have been able to hear our neighbour that clearly. Aside from this, everything else was great and we loved our stay here. The hotel is within walking distance to the waterfront as well as to many restaurants, bars, Citadel Hill, and the Scotia Centre. We would definitely stay here again.
