8/10 Very good

Simple, quirky and basic hotel with no frills. Decent location if you want to be in the 5th arrondissement with plenty of cafes and local restaurants. The room was small but had a lovely Juliet balcony. Quiet and very peaceful. The concierge was fabulous with lots of information and helpful tips. Good value for your money.

Small, boutique style hotel... rooms small, yet very comfortable and well appointed, ditto bathroom... elevator available... staff incredibly friendly and helpful... lots of restaurants and shopping (grocery) about 3-4 blocks walk... bakery next door... would stay again...

6/10 Good

The hotel is an excellent location in 5th district with great access to public transport and walking distance to Luxembourg gardens. The staff members are very professional and do everything they can to ensure guest comfort and happiness. However I would not govern this hotel more than 3 stars, furthermore over $200 per night price tag can not be justified. The rooms sound insulation was non existent and we were able to hear everything happening in adjacent room including running water and toilet flushes. In addition to that our “double” bed was two single mattresses put on a big frame. This is not great in any hotel, let alone fairly expensive 4* hotel that we booked for a honey moon. These two shortcomings alone makes newlywed experience rather uncomfortable. Otherwise it is a beautiful hotel in a great location with very profesional staff members. Nevertheless I would not stay again and wouldn’t recommend.

The staff are marvelous. I had a stomach bug toward my last night and was able to extend my stay for a day without issue and with great kindness. Location is quiet and easy to get to metro and a 15 min walk to the Seine.
