Needs renovation
This place has gone downhill in the last few years. Wyndham has added their name, but the Wyndham touch is not yet evident. Hoping for further, MUCH needed renovations. The towels were new! 😉 Also, why check in early when you have to go through the same, detailed check in upon arrival?!? What?

Request a room on the western facing side
The property is a little dated with carpet design and furnishings, but otherwise a comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable. As a bather, I do not like looking over and seeing mold around the top of the tub.
I arrived early evening to find the parking in the front of the property was fairly limited. I parked on the western side, having to walk past an overflowing trash can and bags propped up against the building. As the building sits upon an expressway service road, I recommend reserving a room on the western side.

This hotel is pet friendly but entering into the lobby you can smell dog pee, the floor in the lobby was so dirty, the elevator floor dirty as well, the carpet on our room old and filthy. They charge $25.00 per per, at least they can mop the floors to remove the dog pee odor. It time for this hotel to get a deep cleaning or been remodeled. Will it stay there ever again.

Rundown property with a good location and ok price
The entire property seemed rundown. Sjnk countertop was cracked. Carpets needed deep clean. The only ice machine on the property was broken all week.

Friendly but a bit disappointing stay
The swimming pool was unavailable- which was very disappointing!! The ceiling fan was very dusty!! The maid did a good job of cleaning our room while we were out. Front desk girls were friendly but had only info about 1 shuttle to balloon fiesta which was $75 per person!! I found out from other patrons that I could purchase a shuttle ticket from balloon fiesta.com and pay $25 for entrance fee and shuttle!! Your front office should have that info to share with patrons during such a big event in town and the reason many of their patrons are there!

balloon fiesta
My stay overall was good, the rooms and accomodations were not that great. it was my first time in NM and I was unfamiliar with the area. I was in town for balloon fiesta this hotel was very close the the fiesta park, but not that comfortable and a bit run down.

Dirty Place
Pretty dirty hotel. The tub was clogged so when we showered the water went above our feet. It was super dusty and noticeably dirty. We were so tired we just stayed, but otherwise would have left. This was such a disappointment. I won’t be staying here again. I will say, the staff was nice, but it doesn’t make up for everything else.

Disappointing Stay
Overall I was disappointed with the poor condition of the hotel starting with the hotel room we stayed in, specifically, the bathroom toilet, shower, t.v remote, room a/c and hotel ice machine maker. I brought up all of these issues to the front desk staff and they made a note of it and assured they will take care of it but no follow up was scheduled or executed by their staff. The toilet was missing a toilet seat bolt out of two to stabilize safe usage. The shower walls have apparent red mold growing in the tile grout and peeling and molding caulking. The t.v. remote was missing a lens cover to operate correctly. The room a/c unit was having difficulty keeping the room cool. The only ice machine that supposedly produces ice for all 3 floors did not produce and or provide any ice during our 2 night stay. The 3rd floor ice machine is non operational and the 1st does not have one. Therefore, I had to purchase some ice for our drink use at the nearby gas station. The place needs a desperate need of maintenance and repairs and in some cases some code upgrades to establish a better rating and over all comfortable and safe stay. I chose not to upload pictures of the specific hotel issues we encountered to preserve the dignity of the hotel and respect for their hard working staff that do the best they can with what they got. If you are seeking a stay with a level of less than 2 stars then this is the place for you. In town for a funeral and had limited time to deal with rebooking.

The property is old, and it shows. The carpeting was dirty throughout. The screens were coming off in our room and the hallway.the breakfast was marginal. There was dog waste all around the building, including just outside the back door by our room. We will not stay there again, at an6 price.

It’s a scary place to stay and I was told make sure you take all of your valuables out of the vehicle. In case it was stolen or broken into. So I left my vehicle at a casino under a camera for safety and had to catch an Uber back. I didn’t want to risk my truck being broken into or stolen. No cameras and very aged hotel. My ceiling fan only had 3 blades. Lol
