Not Nice
When I checked in, we were given a room and when i went to lock the deadbolt it wouldn't lock. I called and told the front desl and had our room switched. Had to go down to the front desk and get a new key. Then in the second room, the same thing with the deadbolt. Again go downstairs and gey a new key and a new room. The 3rd room the deadbolt worked but the tv did not and the bathroom sink drained extremely slow. Then when i went to check out, the desk clerk before giving me back my deposit which i paid in cash, got the housekeeper to go check the room before releasing the money to me.

The property is old and is being refurbished bit by bit. The pillows were very uncomfortable and the blankets and sheets had definitely seen better days. The bed was on a cheap, standard bedframe on rollers and each time one of us got out of bed or went to sit down the bed would slide on the tile floor. The free breakfast was very limited compared to other hotels I have stayed at. The parking lot was very poorly lit but finding parking wasnt a problem. Stay was ok but wouldnt return.

Very friendly staff, hotel is outdated but hey you pay for what you get and if you want to be close to sandbanks, it’s super ideal. Lacks soundproofing, you can hear absolutely everything, even others using the bathroom.

Probably the worst hotel stay in a long time. We left a day early to check into a nicer and safer hotel. This is the type of hotel where the front desk needs to see the original credit card used for the Expedia reservation and does not want to accept a different card for incidentals BECAUSE TOO MANY PROSTITUTES DO THIS FOR ROOMS PAID FOR BY THEIR JOHNS. If that is not enough to be a deal breaker, the property is old and the rooms are in disrepair with peeling opd wallparer, cracks in the walls and dirty bathroom fixtures. The clientale staying here (even the non-proatitutes) are loud and noisy, and many rooms are taken up by social services arranging supervised visitation for parents who have lost custody of their children. The "dog park" nearby happens to where the local homeless drug users hang out. Belleville is a rough town, the epicenter of the opioid/meth crisis in Ontatio. This hotel is located in the center of the epicenter. Avoid at all cost.
