We had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was newly renovated. Very clean and freshly painted. The towels and sheets were crisp and white. the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was clean and newly renovated. they provided soap, shampoo and body wash in nice size containers on the wall with a pump to dispense. The breakfast was adequate. coffee, hot-water, milk, creamer, cereal, eggs, bagels, fruit, butter, jelly, muffins, bread and a toaster. They had a microwave in the breakfast area for use, but not in the room itself. There was a mini fridge and a nice T.V. We were close enough to downtown to either drive or take an uber. The bus stop was close by. It was a 4-minute walk to McDonalds, A and W and a Super C grocery store which was nice. There was plenty of parking. It was a low-cost stay so we were able to spend more money for our daily activities. We were happy with our choice.

The room was fine, although small. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was very disappointing, especially since we had stayed at the Super 8 in Brockville the night before where the room was much nicer and the breakfast was great. In Montreal, the breakfast consisted of bread which you could toast, a choice of two cereals, some unappealing bananas and 1 apple. There were only forks to eat with - no spoons for cereal or knives for spreading anything on the toast. Brockville had bagels and yogurt and hard boiled eggs and waffles, plus.

We were very skeptical after reading reviews about bed bugs and nasty smells… so when we arrived we thought it was suspiciously clean. We even stripped all the bedsheets off and examined every inch of the room when we arrived. But it was perfect. Bed was super comfy, a little chilly but not too bad. Shower was clean. Breakfast was provided. Bagels were a little stale. But the coffee was good and the eggs were alright. It was overall a wonderful place to stay, esp for the price and location

Absolutely avoid the super 8 like the plague. Had the misfortune of booking here thinking I’d have a clean room and decently managed property. Instead, despite a 3pm check in, the room wasn’t ready until 5, and when finally in the room, it was absolutely filthy. Mirrors on walls were smeared with some unidentified gunk, the floor was so dirty socks turned black in mere minutes, and worst of all the room was infested with fruit flies. Spent the first few hours hunting them down just to make the room somewhat livable. I have stayed in many motels/hotels and I must say this stands out as the single worst cleanliness experience I have ever had. Self respecting travellers should avoid the Super 8 at all costs.
