We enjoyed everything about this stay. Great location! We were close to many amazing restaurants and sights. The coliseum was a couple blocks away. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved going up to the rooftop terrace to watch the sunset and beautiful sights of Rome with a glass of wine.

A hidden gem!! Close to everything!! Coliseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Basilica Mary Major and Pope Francis tomb!! Everything walkable. Rooms are decorated perfectly!! Staff is friendly!! Rooftop area has great views!! Will be back!!

This guest house was AMAZING! The staff were wonderful and the location is perfect! And the price was very reasonable! Their rooftop terrace has an UNBELIEVABLE VIEW. We will be back.

A lovely place. Have never experienced such a good service before, it was a family-feeling in the residence and we felt included. It was very clean and quiet. Extremely central, in historic center of Rome. The breakfast is also very good.

Amazing location in Rome
Service was exceptional. They arranged for a car to take us to the airport at our expense. Lots of information and location was incredible. The view from the balcony blew me away. Right in the city center of Rome. The only caution is the curtains are sheer and let in all the light from the street. We were so exhausted from touring that we barely noticed! :)

We had a wonderful stay here! Picked it for location (easy to walk to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain) but loved it for the people, especially Barbara and Natalia. They were so helpful and made our stay memorable! And the rooftop terrace is just incredible, we went up all 3 nights we stayed. Breakfast is tasty, but not North American style; but we had more than enough to eat. If we come back to Rome we will certainly stay here.

This hotel is located in an amazing area of Rome. There is even an ancient site across the street and beautiful views of Rome can be seen from the accessible rooftop. It’s a family owned and run business and we met 2 of the 3 brothers. They were so nice and personable. We stayed in one of the classic rooms. Read the history of them! It was quaint and quintessentially old ROME. We stayed in La Bianca…The room has antiques and a very quiet and comfortable! The hotel is surrounded by $359 to $550 a night hotels. It offers a very reasonable price and the area is very safe. Communication is excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Residenza Maritti. The owner Gianluca was very friendly and accommodating. We thank Barbara for arranging the transportations and breakfast for us when we had to leave in the early morning. The sunset at the roof garden was mesmerizing. We wish we could stay longer.

Unique central Rome break with viewd
Fantastic break. Location was perfect with beautiful roof terrace overlooking the ancient Roman Forums. Outside bedroom window was 2000 year old Corinthian columns. Breakfast served in unique setting, complete with sweet treats displayed on grand piano. Big thanks to Barbara who stayed after her shift ended to welcome us and talk us through how to make best use of our 3 days in Rome. Suprised to have access to fully functional kitchen with Classic bedrooms. Large room with great a/c and shower. Lots of original features and furniture. Organised airport transfers. All staff very helpful. Already planning next visit.

Oh my goodness me ... what a place to stay!!! We have been to Rome a few times but this was the first time bringing our 7 year old, so we wanted a place to stay that was fairly central, with a bit of Italian flare. The building was beautiful, the room was beautiful, the rooftop was beautiful, the breakfast was beautiful, the staff were just the best - so friendly and knowledgeable and happy!! Could not recommend this place more. The room was clean and spacious with so much character (and much needed air con). Our daughter loved the lift up to the 'secret' rooftop terrace, where you could see the colosseum. The breakfast was continental style with lots of choice and great coffee! Everything was within walking distance so the location was just perfect. I could not recommend this residence enough and if we come back to Rome it will be the first place we check for availability. Thank you!!

Character, quality and central...
A building of great character and quality, with not only a spacious room but also excellent additional spaces for sitting and catering (kettle, cooker, fridge, freezer) shared between only three rooms in our case. A superb breakfast is supplied (meat, eggs, fruit, pastries...) with faultless service and support. On top of all of this, it literally faces on to the main fora of the historic Roman centre and has a roof garden with an incredible view encompassing the Colosseum, the Pallatine and Trajan's column. We'll be back...
