Pros: The resort property is vast and beautifully scenic, perfect for leisurely walks amidst the snow. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Delicious and convenient breakfast. Our stay @ GSR was for my teen daughter's b-day girls' trip. The property seems to be struggling with adequate staffing (eg, our check-in time was delayed by nearly 2 hrs due to shortage of cleaners) and there were some dated on-site amenities; however, the management went above & beyond to compensate for such shortcomings. Their hospitality more than made up for it!

We stay at Glade Springs every year in Dec. traveling to our annual Family Christmas in WV. We live in GA but from the southern WV area. We love this resort and love the recreation center as well as the great Breakfast. We hope to come back in the summer sometime and enjoy the warm weather amenities.
