Amazing, except parking

Everything by was amazing. Nothing could beat the view we had! We had City view and it was so beautiful! Beds were a tad hard but nothing to complain about. They randomly gave us News Papers everyday for some reason. Security guard can use some upgrades… there was one night the security person was fast asleep at their desk. The real complaint I had though was the miscommunication of hotel parking and the kiosk. Most of the trip the kiosk in the lobby was broken. The person working at the parking gate kept telling us to use the kiosk, but we kept saying it was broken with a sign on it. The person then proceeded to say you need to talk to the manager in the lobby… we’ve mentioned that we’ve talked to them prior and that they have nothing to do with it, and need to talk to the person in the parking lot… in the end, at least we were just charged the $35 for being hotel guests like intended.

Happy in Honolulu

Hotel was in a great location with great ocean views from the higher floors. Fold out bed utilised for our family stay was hard as a rock and not comfortable. Due to amount of people staying at the hotel there were long waits for the lifts, Everything else was good.

The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The facility was very old, had a feel of staying at your grandmas house. Rooms were super small, barely enough room to walk around the bed. You have to shimmy sideways to get to the other side of the bed. The pillows were comparable to the free pillows you get on an airplane. The showers were dirty and old. Presence of calk all over to fix leaks. The gym was extremely small with not a lot of equipment. We payed for an upgraded room and never received it. The parking structure was way overpriced and charged us more than they should have. When asked about it the staff looked confused and didn’t give an answer or even help. Would not recommend this place.

We stayed at the property for 14 nights. The general areas are in poor condition. Our apartment was supposed to be cleaned every 3rd day however in the middle of our stay it was missed. The housekeeping service is very minimal and not enough when you are staying for a longer time eg. does not include vaccuming so we had to ask. The pool is nice as it was not too busy however it is in the shade most of the day and windy. Easy walk to the beach.

It is a nice 5 min walk to the beach which was fine. Parking garage is very limited on large SUVs and not to mention an additional $25 a day for parking as a guest at the hotel with no street options available leaving you no choice. We rented a Surburban and spent 2 hrs trying to find parking when we couldnt get a spot in the garage which only 1 level accomidated a suv that size. For being so high up the noise factor is ridiculous. You hear everything the roosters, traffic, people revving their engines all night long. The bed was rock hard and not comfortable. Blanket they provide is a joke. Overall we spent more time outside the hotel. Its a decent place if your just looking to sleep there but Im sure you can find a nicer spot for a more decent price. The fact that theres a kitchen makes it nicer if you dont want to eat out for every meal. It was overall just okay, will we go back to this hotel.....no.
