The lighting in the first floor lobby was awful - made me dizzy. The plexiglass furniture in the room was awful - marked up, worn, sterile. It was frustrating to have only two staff at the desk and no concierge. If there were a lot of people checking in, you couldn’t get help for other things. Shower kept going cold so you had to constantly adjust temperature to hotter.
The 7th floor lobby and lounge were beautiful and staff at the bar, front desk, and housekeeping were wonderful and accommodating. Beds were comfortable, shower pressure good. Room was great size, especially for NYC. And great location.
