Enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was great and the place was just as described.

A quiet spot in Chelsea.
I found the hotel to be quite nice. More interesting to stay in a renovated older Chelsea building than in a built for purpose new hotel. The decor was good. Room very clean and quiet. Be aware that it is 5 storeys tall and has no elevator. The staff noticed that I am older and put me on the second floor and carried my luggage to my room. The lounge on the ground floor with complimentary coffee, tea and lemonade was appreciated. It is very close to the Metro - 3 short blocks - and also a short walk to the Chelsea Market/bottom of High Line to the west and Union Square to the east.

Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.
We had the door at the front. Very loud with people talking outside due to two restaraunt until about 2am. As the window was broken and fixed with plywood and plexi all noise came in. There was duvet cover. We had to ask for a sheet as that was missing too. At least we did get a sheet to seperate the naked comforter/duvet and ourselves. The maid stood outside our room and chatted loudly at like 7am for about 30 min. For about 200/night I guess this is pretty good for NY in may? I would rather pay an extra hundred and get better rest. Day guys at the front were nice enough. Showers were decent. Otherwise clean.

Couldn’t fix the TV. Rude woman at front desk. Difficult to control room temperature

Elevator not available, had to walk my luggage up to 5th floor because their service took too long. Bathroom was shared bathroom with other room with access via hallway. Neither was made clear to me upon booking.

Apartment for the week.
Perfect spot to stay for a week long work trip. Only thing being on the lower floor, there was a lot of street noise from construction.

Poor 2.0
I was attending conference nearby and it was already after 11pm when I checked in but was denied a room because I was not 21. Worst was, staff lied to me: we will refund you tomorrow. I called next day and I was denied refund. If they didn’t lie, I could call a friend to help check me in. Anyway, this is the worst experience I have had.

Small, charming and a little noisy
This sweet little gem was VERY close to my daily meetings and the nightly cost couldn’t be beat. The inn is older with all the pros and cons that come with that. Charm and character but the rooms are teeny and the lovely wood floors can be noisy when other guests are moving about. I opted for a room with a private bathroom which surprisingly came with a jetted tub. I booked for price and location but the little details were a nice addition. I’d certainly stay here again.

I underrated it due to shared bathroom concerns but its mininal based on sharing with on other person. This hotel is a perfect example of how little work goes a long way.
