This was our third stay at Oak Hall, and it never disappoints. The property is gorgeous, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well appointed. We stayed in the 3rd floor attic on this visit, and while it's not as grand as the other rooms, it is cozy, delightful and comfortable. Breakfast is always amazing and delicious, and Elizabeth was very gracious, even though I broke her husband's favorite coffee mug!

Architectural Gem
Oak Hall is an architectural gem. If you are a fan of beautiful early 20th century architecture you will greatly appreciate all the original period details, glowing oak woodwork, leaded glass, fireplaces, etc. The hostess was lovely and welcoming, the room was huge and well appointed and the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely recommend for an individual, couple or large group!

Staying here was the best choice we made on our cross country road trip. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. It’s such a gorgeous house. The pool is lovely. My two kids and my husband and I stayed in the rustic room which was perfect for us. We will definitely be back!

We were not sure if we would like a BNB, but this place was everything that the listing included. We were greeted by the owner’s mother. She set out some cookies and was very pleased to tell us the history of the house. We were very pleased with the room climate control system. The bathroom was clean and very roomy. We ended the evening with a swim in the pool. We would highly recommend and would not hesitate in booking again.

Beautiful home right in town
This home has a rich history, is beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The guest rooms are large and well equipped for an older home. Our room had a modern, updated bathroom and a Kuerig coffee maker. The outside areas are wonderful-we sat in the evening with a glass of wine. Elizabeth, the host, is gracious and gave us several great suggestions for places to eat. Janice was terrific. One morning she told us all about the history of the house and the original owners. The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is my opinion of breakfast. Any B & B I’ve stayed at breakfast was plated and served. Here it was “help yourselves”. I don’t mind but I was confused the first morning & had to ask other guests what to do. Most of the breakfasts were good, but we didn’t care for the couple southern breakfasts. They’re nice to taste but I would’ve liked a more traditional option as well. All in all , you’ll love staying here.
