Great experience
Extremely well-situated hotel close to parking, a theater, and great restaurants/shops. The bakery behind the hotel on New St. is truly exceptional. The hotel has a warm inviting lobby with a small bar. Very nice hotel in a very nice small town.

Not so great
Room was small but fine for the price, and it was just an overnight. Biggest complaint was the service in the bar/lounge. We had just driven 4 hours, we wanted a drink and a bite to eat. Bartender acknowledged and then completely ignored us, while attending to people who came in after us from a private party that was concluding its festivities. We got disgusted and left. Fortunately there is a restaurant within walking distance that had great food and service. Plenty of choices in the area, stay somewhere else.this hotel obviously didn’t need our business.

Heart of Downtown
Downtown hotel in a great location, walking distance to many things. Comfy rooms but the TVs are a little small and older. Good breakfast buffet (it is extra $) but definitely worth a try! Nice indoor pool but unfortunately the hot tub was not operational :( Parking is in a parking garage attached to the hotel and it is extra $ also.

Super nice old hotel
Nice space inside, nice staff, decent breakfast bar for $15. Only small negative was parking in the public parking garage and only one elevator from the garage to the lobby which caused a line. This is sooo much nicer than the Hampton Inn etc. Try it, you'll like it!

Our fifth stay here. Some minor issues this time: no bodywash in bathtub/shower dispenser, the bathroom light fixture kept blinking, the refrigerator froze some items. Otherwise, very comfortable bed, very clean, very quiet, and very friendly and helpful staff. We will be back.

Excellent with a strange smell
Everything was wonderful with the one exception being the smell in the room(like that of an elderly person)..if something could be done to neutralize it, it would be perfect. I appreciate bring on the top floor like I requested and it was quiet. Walking distance to so many great shops and restaurants.
