Pretty good but overpriced
Nice hotel in good location. Nice view. Could have been cleaner. Offered $5 credit for foregoing maid service which doesn’t seem like enough. Seemed expensive for the quality of the stay.

Nice boutique hotel, little pricey great location
stayed in penthouse. Nice boutique hotel. Was a little tight through the hallways, but everything was very nice. Huge veranda, with spectacular 180 degree views of downtown vic, and the sea. Qashrooms were very large and nice. Everything was wonderful about the hotel. Would have liked to stayed longer. I like that you can park underground, didn't like that you had to pay $15 for it though, especially with no valet. It should be included in your stay. Especially for the price of the suite.

This is a solid 7 hotel and not a 9
Great location. Staff were friendly and trying hard - especially in AM. When booking online I selected one room even though there were two of us staying in the room. They did not have two beds in the room so I asked for a cot or even an extra blanket. The hotel did not have either. For 9 star rating I would have thought they would have at least one extra blanket. Also I asked to extend check out past 11AM and they were not flexible at all. This again seems inconsistent service for a 9 rated hotel. The coffee press in the room with fresh ground beans was superb. The bathroom was huge. The TV did not pull away from the wall so that it could be viewed from the chair instead of just the bed. I would say this is a solid 7 hotel but definently not a 9

This hotel was updated compared to others in the area. The location was awesome!! The room not so much. It was SO hot when we were there, and there was no AC in the room which sucked because there were no blackout curtains on the four huge windows, and that let a ton of heat in! It was uncomfortable to be in in the day because of that. There was a GROSS dirty sock in the closet, visible right when I opened the door - this made me really question how thorough the cleaning is at this place!! When I alerted the front desk about it all they said was ‘hm I’m just trying to think about who cleaned that room before you checked in! I’ll have to let them know’. I was so grossed out, and unimpressed with the way they handled it. The people at the front desk were rather awkward throughout our whole stay to be honest, which is weird because you’d expect the front of the house to be super the opposite of awkward. They charged 600$ a night for the long weekend but I got a discount through Expedia and only paid $350 a night. Still way overpriced for what they had. Definitely won’t be staying here again.

Won’t stay here again because of cleanliness
When I arrived in the room there was leftover poo in my toilet. Which means they didn’t clean the toilet at all as how can you miss that. If they didn’t clean the toilet what else didn’t they clean. They tried to remedy it by offering to come clean my room but I had already been in there and it was late at night. Then they gave me three cookies as a service gesture. Unfortunately the service gesture doesn’t match up to not having you washroom cleaned and seeing someone else’s poo in your toilet. Also there is no air conditioning if that is an issue for you and there is some construction that starts at 7am
