Shangcheng

Stroll through Shangcheng's dreamy landscape where ancient pagodas reflect in West Lake's mirror-like waters. Artisan workshops line bustling Hefang Street, crafting silk and tea while temple incense mingles with street food aromas. Getting around couldn't be easier with Metro Line 1 and frequent buses serving the West Lake area. Traditional Hangzhou cuisine dominates the food scene, while boutique hotels with classical gardens offer peaceful retreats after days spent exploring this UNESCO treasure.

West Lake draws visitors with its dreamy landscapes of pagodas reflecting in mirror-like waters. Stone bridges arch over lotus-filled coves while willow trees drape gracefully along ancient causeways. Morning mist creates magical scenes perfect for photographers, and traditional pavilions offer peaceful spots for authentic tea ceremonies. Temples ring with gentle bells as incense drifts across manicured gardens. Getting around couldn't be easier with Metro Line 1 connecting to downtown Hangzhou every 10 minutes. The Olympic Sports Centre stands as an architectural marvel, while wide promenades offer perfect sunset strolls with stunning city skyline views. Metro stations connect this business district seamlessly to Hangzhou's attractions, with lines 1 and 4 making exploration easy. Upscale malls house refined restaurants serving both local Hangzhou cuisine and international fare, while luxury hotels cater primarily to business travellers with river-view rooms and premium amenities.

Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou At Hangzhou Centre

10/10 Excellent
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to the exceptional service at the front desk—especially Isabella. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. What truly stood out was how she went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, even anticipating needs before I had to ask. Whether it was handling requests efficiently, offering helpful local tips, or simply checking in to make sure my stay was comfortable, Isabella made a lasting impression. Her attitude and dedication reflect incredibly well on the hotel, and she turned what could have been a standard stay into a memorable one. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-managed, but it was the human touch—especially Isabella’s—that really elevated the experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly commend the management for having such a standout team member at the front desk."
