We booked through Hotels.com, when we arrived I was asked for my payment method, I told the lady that I had already paid, she assured me that I had not, so I give her my payment method and paid again. A few days later our bank acct. showed that we were charged twice, so I made numerous phone calls to the hotel, left several messages asking for them to please return my call, but never got a call. I finally, after about 6 phone calls reached a lady in accounting. She assured me that she'd look into it, said when I checked in their system just wasn't showing me as paid yet, but she should be able to refund my money and would email me about it. So I get the email saying we would be given back 150 of our 189 charges. So once again I get on the phone to reach someone, after 4 more calls I reach the hotel manager, who then passed the issue back to the accounting lady who told me even tho we were charged 189 she could only give us back 150 due to the difference being the valet parking charge. We were charged 191 when we booked online, which we assumed covered the valet since it was almost the same amount that the hotel charged us. When I asked about it, she told me that the extra amount changed online was online fees, not valet parking. So here it is, 6 days later, our money has not been put back into our bank account, I spent half my day trying to reach someone at the hotel about being overcharged which was 100% their fault, but they feel the need to keep 39 of our money for valet!
