Don’t stay here if you’re arriving late!!
This place is a joke! We evacuated for Hurricane Milton and booked two rooms for our commute home. The site advertised to call if you’re going to arrive after 10pm. Beginning at 4pm the day of check in, I began calling the motel’s number. I called them 14 times with no answer, and unable to leave a message. I messaged them on their Facebook page; nothing. We arrived at 1am, exhausted from being on the road all day with three kids, to an office that was dark and closed, the phone number on the door the same as the one I called 14 times. Do not advertise to call if you’re checking in after a certain time if you’re not going to answer the phone!!! All other lodging in the area was sold out so we ended up having to get some rest at a nearby 24 hour gas station. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Poor desk and office service.
On check-in I was told the $50 security deposit would be refunded on checkout. I checked out 10 am, having to drop the card key into a box. The office was closed at normal published office hours. Two days later I still do not have a $50 credit for leaving the room in perfect condition. Subsequent calls to the main number at 386-938-5720 are not answered.

Clean room for price
Room was renovated, clean big screen tv beds were firm but good. Clean room for price point. Already dinged up, need touchup, toilet ran. Shower needs work. Ive stayed in much worse, so for price i was happy. They still need to work on outside of buildingand parking area. Wifi could be faster with better connection. No coffee in room, office closed in morning, so no coffee there too. I understood new management as of two months ago. So work in progress. Not a lot of guests so it was quiet to get some rest. They do allow animals.

There Was No Stay
There was no stay. We started calling the hotel around 7:30 to tell them we would be late after car trouble and got nothing but a busy signal several times. When we got there, the office was empty and locked with a sign in the window saying the office was closed from 10:30 pm to 8:00 am. A number was listed -the same one we had repeatedly called without success. We kept traveling down the road.

This was our second stay within a week here. Our first stay was great but this time our room was in poor shape, not very well cleaned, the ac smelled weird and the pillows were basically useless they were totally flat. Definitely a hit or miss place but you cant beat the price.

Right off the expressway its very convenient for a stop off on a road trip. The area feels a little sketchy but it's clean and quiet and the guy in the office was cool. Only complaint I can give is that the ac was off when we arrived and it took forever for the room to cool down.

Very Clean, Low Rates, a True Hidden Gem!
I have stayed here several times and it's always a great stay! Rooms are very clean, area is quiet, owners and staff are always very courteous. Refrigerators and microwaves were recently installed in the rooms. Staying here will require just a little planning regarding eating arrangements as there are no restaurants in the area. Closest restaurants are in Lake Park, GA (about 10 min), Madison, FL (about 25 min), and Valdosta, GA (about 20 min). The minimal planning is well worth the rates which are well below the norm. I will be travelling to Valdosta regularly for the foreseeable future, and plan to stay here each time.

It is so hard to find the right motel at a reasonable rate. Please take seriously this small, clean, and reasonably priced motel! Sam in the office greeted us promptly with a smile after we phoned the number affixed to the door. Our rooms were clean and bright. In one room, the sink light turned on along with the water! The art in the wall was simple and elegant. Televisions were set up to cable and streaming options were available. There was no breakfast, but coffee in the lobby was made and ready! There was also an ice machine in the lobby, and also a toaster, so that a light byob (bring your own breakfast) could be made. Not only were soaps and shampoos available, but each room had non-soap/non-alcohol wipes (so helpful for sunburns!)
