Hotel in need of a renovation.
The smell (not of the hotel) but in the area is almost overwhelming. Plus the hotel is very dated. It is literally beside the transit line, so you hear it all the time. The beds were comfortable but the carpets, bathrooms, etc have not been touched in years. The staff was friendly and nice but i would absolutely never stay there again.

Lovely spot
Great location- we loved Chinatown and very close to subways (20 min to times square) and great restaurants in the area, LES Rooms were basic but relatively clean Polite staff Lobby had seating and free coffee and tea Right next to train so a bit loud but didn't bother us much Would definitely stay again!

Good 6.0
Mediocre at best
The location is great. Check in process was a bit unprofessional. Check out was good. For the price I would say this is a quite steep for a mediocre hotel. I realize it's NYC yada yada yada but this is like a 2.5 star hotel no frills hotel for $170 a night that doesn't even provide condition or a bottle of water . The room had a wall shelf right next the bathroom that was too low and I banged my head on it very hard twice at night. I am 6'0 so tall but this shelf is not in a good location and needs to be raised higher as it is a safety issue.

If you need cheap and basic
Chinatown smells are not for the faint hearted, the local people are also super rude. The staff of the hotel only speak if absolutely necessary, more concerned speaking about their personal lives with each other and when we arrived the hall stunk of curry as one of the receptionists were eating their lunch at the desk. Cleaners also entered the room while we were out despite the do not disturb sign. Other than that for the price it was great, you get what you pay for and for 200$ a night in New York you can’t expect much . Bring earplugs

Good if you get a good price & don't mind trains
I was able to eventually ignore the above-ground trains rolling by the building (I was very tired!) but they are quite loud. The air conditioning unit in the room did not work properly and it was pretty stuffy until the room cooled off due to cold weather outside. However the property is extremely clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable, staff are pleasant and very helpful and friendly.

Stayed here on a family trip for 5 nights from 12/27 to 1/1. It was a very tiny room for 4 people in very old condition. It is not worth it time for $300 included taxed, serviced in the Chinatown area.

This is a really noisy hotel. It’s right beside the rail line which ie elevated as it comes off the bridge. Also the noise from the adjoining rooms were disruptive.
