Overall a positive experience

Service at front desk was very friendly and accomidating. Location was great, within walking distance to many downtown attractions. We were in Ottawa in the middle of a heat wave so the air conditioned room was amazing. The beds were a little uncomfortable, glad I brought additional pillow. Overall a positive experience.

This hotel is walking distance to Parliament. It's a university dormitory, but guests have private rooms with private bathrooms. Price was decent. Not fancy, but spacious rooms. I would stay again.

We stayed two nights. Staff very friendly. Room quiet n comfortable. Both TVs not working. They needed HTML cable n computer to stream. They should tell us to. Bring. Overall a great value n location

Great place but needs mattress upgrades

This was very affordable and in a great location for visiting various Ottawa sites. The dorm rooms had a little kitchenette with fridge and microwave and 2 seperate bedrooms which was great since we were traveling with our small kids. The rooms was clean. Our only complaint was the mattress springs were broken so it made for a very very uncomfortable sleep. I am glad we were only there for 1 night, as I would have not been able to go for multiple nights trying to get any sleep on that mattress.

Perfect option for budget sightseeing

The university residence is in the walking distance from Ottawa city centre - perfect place to stay while sightseeing. The studio consists in two separate single rooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette. The studio was clean and comfortable. Please be aware that there is no kitchenware provided.

Good hotel for downtown Ottawa

During the summer the University of Ottawa converts some of its dorm rooms into hotel rooms. The rooms are large and clean. The room was private with a private bathroom. It was obviously not luxurious, but it was more than adequate. It is a 15 minute walk to Parliament. I would stay here again.

Overall pretty nice stay!

Overall, pretty nice except the mattress are a bit used and outdated, big dent right in the middle. My gf and i were drifting towards the middle so whoever went to bed first had the biggest part of the bed. There's a microwave but it could at least have a kettle and a toaster in the room also.
